(八十誦律, 八十诵律)

The original Vinaya recited by the Buddha's disciple Upāli eighty times during the summer retreat, while the Tripiṭaka was being composed after the Buddha's death.

書名， 是根本的律藏， 在如來滅後結集三藏的時候， 優波離尊者在一夏九旬之中八十番誦出， 故名八十誦律。
